This historic “Wines and Oils" meeting point
located in the direct passage between the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain,
was born in the early twentieth century.
With the time it then became an Osteria of succulent soups and pastas with abundant offers
at a good price for the patrons of the area.
Nowadays La Scalinata is a place where ancient traditions are kept in the simple and straightforward taste of the Roman tradition.
Here you are warmly welcomed, you eat in joy and relaxation among the aromas of the dishes that bring us all back to the smells of the Roman alleys of the past.
Our restaurant doesn’t have outdoor tables for summer season, but
inside we have an excellent Air Conditioning system.
